I was talking to James Matheson of Saikore a few months ago, and we thought it was about time that there was a 'Wiki-Wednesday' in Sydney, Australia. James has organised it while I was in Zurich.
An informal gathering of wiki enthusiasts will be held at the Greenwood Hotel at 6:30pm on Tuesday 27th February.
Join us at the Main Bar for a couple of drinks and some general conversation. There is no formal program, but the event is inspired by SocialText's Wiki Wednesday events, and you are encouraged to chat, learn about wikis, find jobs, talk deals and generally cavort.

Glad you are building upon the meme, one of our hopes is that people carry it in different directions and it shouldn't be Socialtext specific (in fact, most Wiki Wednesdays involve multiple wiki projects and people).
